Zone 4 Jr. High Area All-State

Zone 4 (Herkimer, Oneida and Oswego counties) will be hosting a Junior High Area All-State Festival to be held February 2-3, 2024 at Mexico Middle School (Oswego County). Audition information will be forthcoming. Please see your teacher with any questions or for more information. Note: students who are eligible for both Junior High All County AND Junior High Area All-State will only be permitted to perform in ONE of the festivals.

This festival will feature student musicians in grades 7-9 from throughout the three counties. At the festival, students work with a guest conductor to prepare several pieces. The festival will culminate with a concert performance for the public. The following ensembles are planned for the festival:

• String Orchestra

• Mixed Chorus

• Concert Band
